Who We Help
Supporting Elmira and Surrounding Communities
Since its inception, all proceeds from the Festival are returned to the community, to both charitable and not-for-profit organizations.

The Elmira Maple Syrup Festival has a long history of supporting the local community, with over $1.85 Million in total grants dispersed. Volunteers from local agencies and groups make the event a success, and the festival is pleased to return the funds raised back to the community.
Traditionally, 40% of the grants are allocated to Elmira District Community Living with the remaining amounts shared among selected organizations. Thank you to all who attend, sponsor, or volunteer at the festival for making these grants possible.
