About the Elmira Maple Syrup Festival

Each and every year of the festival is a year you will want to attend. The festival is fun for visitors of all ages. So, what can you expect to see and do here?

To start off the day, you can drive into the town of Elmira and then enjoy one of the wagon rides to the mall area from our various parking lots. Then make sure to eat your fill of pancakes and sausages with the famous maple syrup on top. You can try other types of food too, including many other ways of enjoying maple syrup. Make your way to the Downtown Mall between 7 am and 4 pm and enjoy a day of shopping, tasting, and exploring! From creative crafters to delicious food vendors (Yes, there are Turkey Legs again this year which will be supplied by Stemmler Meats). There’s something to delight every visitor. And for true maple lovers – don’t miss the Producer of the Year Maple Syrup booth and the maple taffy booth that is located directly behind festival Headquarters and the EMSF Merchandise Tent.

Visit our Family Fun Area for a variety of engaging activities and experiences designed for all ages. There’s plenty to discover and enjoy throughout the space, making it a great stop for families during the festival.

You’ll find the Family Fun Area in the parking lots behind Kitchen Kuttings and in and around the downtown horse barn. The Family Fun Area runs from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.

Make your way to the Woolwich Memorial Complex (WMC), where you can watch our Pancake Flipping Contest running from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. This is an event that is sure to show off some unique pancake-flipping skills and provide plenty of laughs! While you’re there, be sure to enjoy performances from various musical entertainers on the stage. Check out the entertainment schedule for this year’s performers. Visitors can also explore buskers performing along with food trucks serving up tasty meals and snacks. A variety of vendors from local organizations and businesses will also be on site, offering great opportunities to shop local and connect with the community.

Meet Amber & Flapjack – The Sweetest Duo in Town!

Amber and Flapjack are the official mascots of the Elmira Maple Syrup Festival, bringing fun, energy, and plenty of syrupy sweetness to the celebration!

Amber dashes through the festival grounds to spread joy and excitement. She knows all the best spots to find tasty maple treats.

Flapjack has a big heart and an even bigger appetite for syrupy treats, he’s always ready for a hug and a high-five!

Together, Amber & Flapjack bring the joy of the Elmira Maple Syrup Festival to life – welcoming guests, posing for photos, and making sure everyone enjoys the sweetest day of the year!

Make sure you take in the trip to visit a local farm for the sugar bush tours. There is so much to see and do at the festival!

The Elmira Maple Syrup Festival features three primary vendor areas: the Outdoor Vendor Mall, which has well over 100 vendors and is one of the most popular attractions; the Crafts & Collectibles Show at EDSS, and the Woolwich Memorial Complex where you will find various Entertainment attractions as well as several other service vendors and food trucks.
